Detailed Overview

Mera Peak Climbing is an incredible climbing experience that takes us to the end of the Hinku valley in the Everest region of Nepal. It is a rewarding trek that offers some astounding views of frozen lakes, hanging glaciers, and icefalls. As you follow the trail to Mera Peak, you will be showered with some stunning views of mountains and valleys in the surroundings. Five out of the six highest peaks in the world are visible during this journey, so analyze the fruitfulness of this trek! To summit the Mera Peak, we cross the Hinku valley, which is one of the isolated sections of the region with high sky-dominating mountains in all directions.

It is a rare chance to venture into some untouched and unspoiled sections in the Everest region of Nepal. The summit of the peak offers some gorgeous views of mountains that rise above eight thousand meters. It is truly a magical experience to get some close-up views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Cho-Oyu all at once. Mera Peak climbing is specially designed for those who would like to opt for some challenging climbs that require technical climbing. It is best suited for a climber with previous climbing experience. One should be physically fit with some level of endurance capacity to accomplish the climb. We have carefully designed the trek and have separated enough time for acclimatization, which is a must for a successful climb up the higher elevation regions.

The journey of Mera Peak climbing starts from the vibrancy of the capital city, Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, we take a flight that will take us to Lukla. From Lukla, we follow a path toward the Hongu and Hinku valleys. The trail goes through some untouched and unspoiled sections of the region. We pass lush forests, rivers, ridges, and alpine pastures on the way to the Mera Base Camp in Hinku Valley. From Hinku Valley, the trail climbs up to the Hongsu basin, which is an opportunity to experience the mountainous wilderness. The massive moraines, icefalls, glacial lakes, and spectacular peaks of towering mountains make Mera Peak climbing one of the best climbing experiences in Nepal.

Mera Peak is officially the highest trekking peak amongst all the trekking peaks available for climbing in Nepal. As the trail takes you to the peak, you will be blessed with some magnificent natural landscapes. One can have the best views of Mt. Everest, along with other towering mountains in the region. The journey also offers an opportunity to get a rare glimpse of a watershed, wild Himalayan animals, and wild nature as you step forward within the pristine, tranquil, and sophisticated Himalayan landscape. So, are you ready to set out on this journey? World Alpine Treks organizes a well-planned trip to Mera Peak! Our professional staff and professional management team will help you have the best time within the natural fantasies of Mother Nature.

Seamless Adventure to Annapurna Base Camp with World Alpine Trek

Our trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) with World Alpine Trek was beyond amazing. From the moment we booked, Mr. Rabin provided all the info we needed quickly and clearly, which made us feel at ease right away. Everything was organized perfectly, including backup plans for any hiccups.

Mr. Deepak, our guide, was the true highlight. He was calm, professional, and never rushed us. He encouraged us to walk at our own pace, soak in the views, and reminded us that it was our holiday, so no need to stress! Every day, he would tell us when we’d eat, where we’d sleep, and always had a Plan B ready. It was like he knew our concerns before we even voiced them. Plus, the porters Mr. Amrit and Pramote were incredibly friendly and supportive, keeping us going even when the weather turned.

The accommodations were fantastic. In Kathmandu, the hotel was spacious, comfy, and conveniently close to Thamel. On the trail, the lodges were lovely—often with great views (unless it was raining or foggy!). Definitely bring layers, as the weather can change quickly, and good rain gear is a must!

Despite constant rain toward the end and flight delays, we never felt worried. The team handled everything with such ease that we felt completely carefree.

Lastly, big thanks to Dinesh my last EBC guide for introducing us to World Alpine Trek. His recommendation made all the difference, and I can’t recommend this company enough for a memorable ABC trek!

Thank you to everyone at World Alpine Trek, especially to Mr. Deepak, Dinesh, Amrit, Pramote and all the team members. We are James, New Jacky, and Yo, and we truly appreciate the wonderful experience!

Great ABC Trek Experience

My sincere thanks to the team of World Alpine Treks, without their help I would not have been able to complete the ABC trek. The guides and porters were professional, friendly and thoughtful. I was in bad condition due to a cold during the trek, but because of their care and help along the way, I was able to complete the trek safely. Highly recommend World Alpine Treks to anyone thinking of trekking in Nepal.
