How to accomplish the Annapurna Family Trek?
Annapurna Family Hike starts with a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu. Then you will be driven to Nagarkot for some stunning views of the mountains. Next, you will be transferred to Pokhara, from where we start walking along an easy trail through the scenic walk to the Australian Base Camp. It offers some stunning views of Pokhara and the mountains. Further, we walk to Sarangkot. It is an excellent point just above Pokhara that provides some spectacular views of the mountains and picturesque Pokhara city. The sunrise/ sunset views from Sarangkot are genuinely inspiring. We can even see people enjoying paragliding and zip flyers from this place. After a wonderful time in Sarangkot, we return to Kathmandu via Pokhara to conclude our journey.

Day 1 Arrival Day in Kathmandu (TIA)
The first day marks your arrival day in Kathmandu. Clear all the visa requirements and customs clearance, if any, at the arrival section of the airport. As you come out, you will find a representative from World Alpine Treks waiting for you holding a board with your name. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. The representative will shortly inform you about the plans ahead.
Day 2 Sightseeing in Kathmandu & Drive to Nagarkot (2175Meters/7105ft ) - 1 Hours
The second day is a day tour to warm up before your trekking journey. Kathmandu is a city enriched with artistic palaces, beautiful monuments, ancient temples, and other constructions of historical and cultural importance. No wonder the city has seven out of ten UNESCO-listed world heritage sites. Today, you will be guided to the UNESCO-listed heritage sites in Kathmandu. These heritages are perfect examples of the rich history, beautiful culture, and architectural treasures of Nepal.
First, you will be taken to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The art, crafts, and carvings in the palaces, temples, and other monuments of the durbar square are excellent. The Durbar Square is a vast complex that comprises palaces, courtyards, and temples. It is now a museum that treasures some valuable items of Nepalese history and monarchy in Nepal. From the durbar square, you will be escorted to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa, respectively. In the evening, you will be driven to Nagarkot. It’s a beautiful hill station near Kathmandu, famous for mountain views. Tonight, at a hotel in Nagarkot (Inclusive of breakfast).
Day 3 Drive to Kathmandu (1400Meters/4575ft)- 3 Hours
We wake up early in the morning to catch the sunrise views amidst the mountains. We wake up and walk to view the tower that offers some fantastic views of sunrise and mountains. The panoramic views of the mountains can be seen from one end to another. After the beautiful views, we return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we explore the place for a while and drive back to Kathmandu. Tonight, we stay at a hotel in Kathmandu (Inclusive of breakfast).
Day 4 Drive to Pokhara (850Meters/2780ft)- 6 Hours
In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for a drive to the lakeside city of Pokhara. Today, we take a scenic drive along the Prithvi highway for around six to seven hours to Pokhara. We pass through some fantastic landscapes throughout the journey. In the first half portion, we will be able to get some stunning views of the Trishuli River along with hills and villages. In the second half, the countryside landscape and the greenery will keep you engaged. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a hotel in Pokhara. Check into the hotel and rest for a while. In the evening, we can walk down the lakeside and enjoy some fascinating views of lthe akes and mountains. Tonight, we stay at a hotel in Pokhara (inclusive of breakfast and lunch).
Day 5 Drive to Phedi (1130Meters/3695ft)- 1 Hours then trek to Australian Base Camp (1840Meters/6015ft )- 3 Hours
Early in the morning, after breakfast in the hotel, we take a short drive to Phedi. It is the actual starting point of our trekking journey. From Phedi, we start walking along a lush landscape to the Australian Base Camp. On the way, we pass to come to exciting villages like Dhampus and Pothaha. During the entire walk, we will be blessed with magnificent views of hills, lush forests, and charming villages. Upon arrival at Australian Base Camp, we will be able to relish some sparkling views of mountains like Annapurna Himal, Dhaulagiri Himal, Macchapucchre Himal, and other mountains in the range. Tonight, we stay at a guesthouse/lodge in Australian Base Camp. (Inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Day 6 Australian Base Camp to Sarangkot (1592 Meters/5205ft)- 4 Hours
Early in the morning, we enjoy our breakfast and continue our walk towards Sarangkot. It is a beautiful viewpoint above Pokhara that offers some incredible views of the mountains and Pokhara Valley. It is also the starting point for adventure activities like paragliding and zip flyer. Leaving the Australian base camp, we walk through a forested area and descend slightly to Naudanda. From Naudanda, we pass different settlement areas with beautiful views of Pokhara Valley on sight. Upon arrival, we relish some glorious views of the mountains and stay at a guesthouse/lodge in Sarangkot for the night. (Inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Day 7 Drive to Pokhara (850Meters/2780ft) then Pokhara sightseeing- 4 Hours
Sarangkot is also a popular sunrise/ sunset viewpoint. We wake up early and catch a sunrise view amidst the towering mountains in the Annapurna massif. After that, we enjoy breakfast at our guesthouse and descend to Pokhara Valley through a lush trail. You also have the option to try any of the adventure activities, like paragliding or zip flyer, to get down to Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, get ready for a sightseeing tour. First, we will visit the lakeside area. We can enjoy boating around the lake or relax by watching the fascinating views of mountains, hills, lakes, and colorful boats. Then, you will be headed to the Gupteshwor temple and then to David’s Falls. Lastly, you will be driven to the International Mountaineering Museum, which is the gateway to every trekking journey to the Annapurna region. In the evening, you will be driven back to your hotel. If interested, you can visit the lakeside and enjoy the liveliness of Pokhara city. Tonight, at a hotel in Pokhara (Inclusive of breakfast).
Day 8 Drive to Kathmandu (1400Meters/4575ft)- 6 Hours
Concluding our trip, we drive back via the same route along the Prithvi Highway to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu. Tonight, we stay at a hotel in Kathmandu. (Inclusive of breakfast and lunch).
Day 9 Departure from Kathmandu
Before a few hours of your scheduled flight, you will be transferred to the international terminal of Tribhuwan International Airport. (Inclusive of Breakfast).
