Journey to Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek

The Everest base camp luxury trek starts with a grand welcome in a five-star hotel in Kathmandu. You can have a wonderful time in the hotel with fine dining, along with various other offerings like a spa, gym, swimming pool, and many more. After an excellent time in Kathmandu, you will be escorted to Kathmandu airport for a flight to Lukla. From Lukla, you set out on an adventurous journey that goes through dense forests, attractive Sherpa villages, and Sagarmatha National Park, which is home to many rare species of flora and fauna.

Everest base camp luxury trek further extends to Namche Bazaar and Tengboche. In Namche, you can enjoy the vibrancy of the town, and in Tengboche, you can enjoy the spiritual vibes at the monastery. What’s common is the views of mountains that soar above the skyline and the luxurious accommodation at your service. A view from the Everest View Hotel offers some astounding close-up views of the mountains in the Everest region. Similarly, Tengboche is the perfect location for mountain views! Mt. Ama Dablam rises just above the monastery and other mountains in the backdrop, isn’t it amazing?

The journey follows the Lobuche, Gorekshep, before reaching the iconic base camp of Mt. Everest. After reaching the base camp, we walked back to Gorekshep for a night. The next morning, we will hike up to Kalapather ( 5545 M), the highest point of the trek, for sunrise views over Mount Everest. To conclude our trek, we went back to Gorekshep, took a helicopter to Kathmandu.

Lukla Flight Alert

During peak trekking seasons (March–May and September–November), Lukla flights are usually operated from Ramechhap (Manthali) Airport instead of Kathmandu due to heavy air traffic. Travelers should plan an early road transfer (approx. 4–5 hours) from Kathmandu to Ramechhap.

As we gain height, our body needs to be well-adapted to the altitude change. Therefore, we have set aside an extra day in Namche. Today, we hike up to the Everest View Hotel for close-up views of the mountains in the Everest region. From the hotel, we can enjoy some striking views of mountains like Kwangde, Thamserku, Kangtega, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, etc. We can visit a museum and a photo gallery on our way back to Namche from the Everest View Hotel.

As we open up to the meadows of Dingboche, we will find ourselves in a spectacular location with wonderful views of Lhotse and Nuptse Ridge in sight. From Gorekshep, we continue towards the world’s highest base camp, i.e., Everest Base Camp, through the Khumbu glacier. It is considered one of the most dangerous sections of the Everest Base Camp Trek. As we reach the base camp, we will be showered with some mesmerizing views of glaciers, lakes, caves, and icefalls. Perfect EBC trekking with Friends

We had an unforgettable experience trekking to Everest Base Camp in September with World Alpine Treks. Our group of 5 was guided by Durga, who provided all the necessary information and ensured a smooth journey from start to finish. Durga’s leadership and expertise made us feel safe and well-prepared for each day's challenge.

A special shoutout to our porters, Bishnu, Ramesh, and Megh, who were absolutely fantastic—helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist. The entire team went above and beyond, and the trek was perfectly organized with stunning views, comfortable accommodations, and great company.

Thank you, Deepak, for organizing this trek! We highly recommend World Alpine Treks to anyone looking for EBC hiking!
