Get set for a relaxing journey to some of the astonishing places in Nepal. It is probably one of the easiest treks to the Annapurna region of Nepal. The main purpose of this trek is to spend a quality time within the lushness of nature enjoying the magnificent views of mountains. Our journey starts from the capital city of Kathmandu. From here, we drive along Prithvi highway which is a scenic route to Fisling.
Fisling is a popular place for launching white water rafting in Nepal. We spend a night in Fisling admiring the spectacles of lush hills, countryside landscape and the fast flowing river water. We can also enjoy campfire and barbeque as we stay by the bank of Trishuli River for the night. From Fisling, we continue our journey with a drive to Pokhara.
Pokhara is one of the popular touristic destinations in Nepal. It is a beautiful city that lies in the backdrop of beautiful Annapurna massif. Lakeside, Pokhara is a popular place in the city. Here, you can stay beside the lake and appreciate the grandeur of Mt. Macchapucchre that rises just above it. The serenity and lushness of this place makes it one of the best places to spend a quality vacation. The city is also the only gateway for any trekking related activities to Annapurna region.
After some good time in Pokhara, we drive to Phedi and initiate our trekking journey. The trekking is very easy. It goes along a well marked path to Dhampus. Dhampus is a beautiful village that offers some close up views of mountains in Annapurna range. Further, we walk for few hours to Australian Base Camp. From here, we can relish some outstanding views of mountains in Annapurna region that includes Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Macchapucchre, Mt. Nilgiri and many more.
Finally, we wrap up our journey with a walk down to Kade and a drive back to Pokhara city. This trek is probably one of the easiest treks to applaud the glory of Mother Nature.
First day marks your arrival day in Kathmandu. Clear all the visa requirements and custom clearance if any at the arrival section of the airport. As you come out, you will find a representative from World Alpine Treks waiting for you holding a board with your name. You will then be transferred to your hotel at Kathmandu. The representative will shortly inform you about the plans ahead.
In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel for a scenic drive to Fisling. Fisling lies at the Dhading Chitwan border and is a popular place for launching white water rafting. It’s around four hours drive to this place. Here, we stay at the riverside and enjoy our time amidst the lush hills and countryside landscape. If interested, you can enjoy campfire and barbeque at this location. Tonight, at a hotel in Fisling (Inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner)
In the morning, after the breakfast, you will be driven to the Pokhara city. The ride is full of scenic views of countryside landscape, Trishuli River, settlement areas and many more. In around three hours, we reach Pokhara. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a hotel in Pokhara. Check in and freshen up for a while. (Inclusive of breakfast and lunch dinner )
From Pokhara airport, we take a short drive to Phedi. It is the actual start point of our trekking journey. From Phedi, we start walking along a lush landscape to Dhampus. It’s around three hours along an easy trail today. Tonight, we stay at a guesthouse in Dhampus. (Inclusive of Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
After breakfast, we continue through our trail to Australian Base Camp. On the way, we pass some interesting villages with magnificent views of hills, lush forests and charming villages. Upon arrival in Australian Base Camp, we will be able to relish some sparkling views of mountains like Annapurna Himal, Dhaulagiri Himal, Macchapucchre Himal and other mountains in the range. It’s around two hour’s easy walk from Dhampus to Australian Base Camp. Tonight, we stay at a guesthouse in Australian Base camp. (Inclusive of Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
After breakfast at the guesthouse, we walk for a while along a scenic way to Kade. From Kade, we catch a vehicle that will drive you back to Pokhara. In the late afternoon, we take a flight back to Kathmandu. It is just a 25 minutes flight with beautiful views of mountains parallel to us. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a hotel in Kathmandu. Rest of the time is on your own. (Inclusive of Breakfast)
Before few hours of your scheduled flight, you will be transferred to the international terminal of Tribhuwan International airport. (Inclusive of Breakfast)
