The seven-hour scenic drive along the countryside landscape of Nepal takes you to Jiri, which is followed by a walk through the route that brings us to the Solukhumbu region. The trail follows a route that will lead us to Lukla from where we follow the path of the standard Everest Base Camp package. We descend to the river, cross suspension bridges several times, and ascend via the villages of Phakding, Monjo, and Jorsale to Namche. We further ascend to Tengboche, Lobuche, and Gorekshep, before we step at the Everest Base Camp, the top of the world.
