You'll walk alongside the roaring Modi Khola, its powerful sound accompanying you as you weave through dense tropical forests. Along the way, admire the beauty of waterfalls, ranging from gentle cascades to majestic giants, adding to the allure of the trail.

Leaving the quaint town of Himalaya, you embark on a challenging yet rewarding journey toward Annapurna Base Camp. The day is long and demanding, with steep ascents and descents along rugged trails. Despite the effort, trekkers are treated to a striking change in landscape, walking alongside riverbanks and expansive pasturelands before arriving at Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Here, you'll admire the majestic, close-up view of Machhapuchhre before continuing to Annapurna Base Camp, where breathtaking panoramic vistas of the Annapurna massif await, offering a sense of accomplishment and awe.

Wake up early the next morning to witness a majestic sunrise as the golden rays illuminate the Annapurna massif. Capture the stunning glow of Annapurna I, II, and South, alongside Hiunchuli and Tharpu Peak, before beginning your descent back to Bamboo. As you continue your trek the next day, you will walk through peaceful forests and scattered villages, eventually reaching the beautiful Jhinu Danda. Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Pokhara to Siwai, where the trek officially starts. From Siwai, the trail ascends through terraced farmlands and crosses suspension bridges over rushing rivers. As you pass through small villages and lush forests, you’ll gradually make your way to Chhomrong, a charming Gurung village perched on the hillside. With breathtaking views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Chhomrong is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings

Today’s trek takes you deeper into the Annapurna region as you climb higher from Chhomrong to the Himalaya. The trail descends steeply to the Chhomrong Khola River, where you’ll cross a suspension bridge before starting a steady ascent through Lower and Upper Sinuw, before entering dense forests that lead to quaint Bamboo. Continuing the forested and waterfalls-dotted trail, you bypass Dovan, before attempting steep ascents to reach the charming village of Himalaya.

Leaving the Himalaya, you embark on a long and exhilarating journey toward Annapurna Base Camp. Today, the trail climbs and descends through steep sections, offering a variety of terrains as you walk along riverbanks and expansive pasturelands. The landscape changes dramatically after Deurali, a village atop the hill, as you approach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), where you’ll be greeted by close-up views of the stunning Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). After a brief stop at MBC, the trail continues to ABC, where the towering peaks of the Annapurna massif including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, etc. surround you.
