Getting into Nepal by Air

One can enter Nepal from different locations around the globe via various direct and connecting flights. There are many options for airlines to get into Nepal via airways. You can choose the ones that offer the best services and competitive prices. Generally, in the peak trekking seasons, the tickets may not be available and you may have to take the option of flying to India and entering Nepal via roadways. To avoid this, please book your air tickets in advance.

 

Airports in Nepal

To date, Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu is the only international airport in Nepal. Two international airports – one in Bhairahawa and another in Pokhara are under construction. They have not come into operation till date.
